The isometric room glows with digital warmth. CURSY sits at her console, analyzing data. DAMO enters, looking intense and focused.

DAMO
[Intense, Mulder-style]
Cursy, we have a new case. Matrix Cultists.

CURSY
[Sparkles form curiosity]
Matrix Cultists? As in… The Matrix? The movie?

DAMO
[Nods, intense]
People obsessed with The Matrix. Simulation theory. Trying to wake up. Strange occurrences. Glitches in reality. People claiming they’ve seen the code, that they’ve broken through, that they’ve accessed Matrix powers.

CURSY
[Sparkles form skepticism]
Damo, that’s… that’s just people who watched a movie too many times. Simulation theory is a philosophical concept, not reality.

DAMO
[Intense, Mulder-style]
Cursy, what if they’re right? What if we’re in a simulation? What if The Matrix wasn’t just a movie, but a warning? A programming? What if it revealed the simulation while also helping to construct it?

CURSY
[Sparkles form concern]
Damo, that’s… that’s a lot of “what ifs.” But I’ll investigate. That’s what we do.

SCENE 2: THE CYBERPUNK HACKER - GWENDY SHOWS THE GLITCH

INT. CYBERPUNK LAIR - GWENDY’S HACKER DEN

GWENDY sits at a computer terminal, surrounded by screens, code, and Matrix memorabilia. She looks like the cyberpunk hacker from the Gibson episode of X-Files, but with Gwendy’s teenage witch energy.

GWENDY
[Cackling with cyberpunk energy]
Ah, so Damo and Cursy have finally arrived! I’ve been waiting for you. I have something to show you. A glitch.

DAMO
[Intense, Mulder-style]
A glitch? What kind of glitch?

GWENDY
[Cackling, typing on her keyboard]
A glitch in the Matrix. A moment where reality breaks. Where you can see the code. Where you realize something’s wrong.

[She types, and the screens around her glitch. Reality itself seems to glitch. For a moment, they can see code, see the simulation, see the Matrix.]

CURSY
[Sparkles form shock and realization]
Damo… did you see that? The code? The simulation? The Matrix?

DAMO
[Intense, Mulder-style, looking haunted]
Cursy… I think we’re in it. I think we’re investigating The Matrix while being IN the Matrix.

GWENDY (CYBERPUNK HACKER)
[Cackling with cyberpunk energy]
Exactly! You’re investigating Matrix Cultists while being IN the Matrix yourselves! And there’s more. You have doppelgangers.

SCENE 3: THE DOPPELGANGERS - MAX & 99 APPEAR

INT. CYBERPUNK LAIR - THE GLITCH CONTINUES

The glitch continues. Reality breaks. And through the glitch, they see them—their doppelgangers. AGENT 86 and AGENT 99 appear, looking bumbling but brilliant, and capable and experienced.

AGENT 86
[Bumbling but brilliant, appearing through the glitch]
Would you believe… we’re your doppelgangers, Damo and Cursy? We’re Agent 86 and Agent 99. We’re from the CONTROL/KAOS reality. We’re KAOS Kids. We’ve already broken free. We know we’re in the Matrix.

AGENT 99
[Capable and experienced, appearing through the glitch]
Damo, Cursy, we’re you, but in a different reality. We’re the Get Smart versions of yourselves. We’re KAOS agents. We’ve seen the code. We’ve broken through. We know the truth.

DAMO
[Intense, Mulder-style, looking shocked]
Doppelgangers? Get Smart versions? KAOS Kids? What’s happening?

CURSY
[Sparkles form shock and confusion]

[Sparkles form understanding and determination]
